2003-2004 SEASON (12-0-0)

January 2003

The Sirens decide to join the Independent Women's Football League (IWFL).

March 2003

Kim Bradshaw and Nadine Vela purchase the 10% ownership previously held by Jenny and Joe Gardiner.

Sirens move to a new playing field at Capital Christian High School for their third season of play.

June 28, 2003

The Sacramento Sirens defeat the Chicago Force 47-7 to advance to the IWFL Championship Game.

July 12, 2003
Championship Game

The Sirens travel to New York to play in their 1st National IWFL Championship game against the New York Sharks.  The Sirens go on to beat the Sharks in a second half rally and win 41-30.  Quarterback Leilani Limay is named the game MVP.

November 2003

The Sirens appear in the Best of Sacramento Magazine as the best female national champions of a contact sport.
