SIRENS
COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
In-School
Fitness Programs
In 2002, the Sacramento Sirens players piloted
an in-school program on fitness and athleticism in elementary
schools. Beginning in March 2003, Sirens athletes returned
to visit both elementary and junior high school programs.
The "In-School Fitness Program" emphasizes cooperation
and competition for all children, especially those at risk
for obesity. Click here
to read more about the classroom presentations and some
of the key points children will learn from the Sirens players.

are available. Look for dates and locations coming up during
the regular season. Clinics are free to all kids participating.

Football 101 Seminars for Fans
Sirens
coaches and players team up to provide a comprehensive class
in the basics of football, referees calls, strategies, and
a chance to wear the gear and try a drill or two. Seminar
class size is limited to 15 people. Course fee is $25.00.
