Memorable Moment:
3/8/03
- Our first home game and my first as a Siren. I stated
I'd get 2 interceptions for 2 injured players and I did.
Why
I'm playing for the Sirens:
I
have wanted to be a professional athlete since about 6 years
old. Terry Bradshaw and Lynn Swann were amazing to me. Even
as a little girl, I dreamed of being a football players.
I did play every other sport imagined, but football was
my love. Lightpost to lightpost was a daily activity for
me. Unfortunately, it wasn't ever available to me, as a
girl. I played little league softball, high school basketball
and then college softball. I did try out with the Colorado
Silver Bullets and was asked to return for another tryout
the following spring. They folded at the end of that season.
Rec softball became life. There I met "Diamond"
Lill Jarrell. She turned me on to the Sacramento Sirens.
Having a baby kept me from playing untill 2003, but here
I am. I've been somewhat re-born and I intend to live this
new life to its fullest. GO SIRENS!!!
