It would have to be every time I spend time with my niece and nephews. It is never a dull moment. Why I'm playing for the Sirens: I wanted to play football in High school, but my mom wouldn't let me. (She swears she never said such a thing) There weren't any professional sports for women when I was growing up, except for golf, and believe me when I tell you that I s@#$ at that game. When I moved to Sacramento, I got involved in the flag football leagues. It was so much fun. When the Sirens came to town, I did not try out at first, thinking I was too old, too out of shape and, just not good enough. When I finally joined the team, I couldn't believe the thrill it was to hit someone. The awesome feeling you get when you throw a block just right and the offense gains big yardage. But the real reason I play is because of my teammates. They are an awesome group of individuals and it is an honor to step onto the same field with each of them.
